– The Book the Twelve
Course Description
This week-long intensive course provides an in-depth exploration of the Minor Prophets also known as the Book of the Twelve encompassing Hosea through Malachi in the Scriptures. The Minor Prophets are often overlooked and overshadowed by other texts in the Bible. Additionally, these texts are often filled with poetry, symbolism, and vivid imagery that make the Minor Prophets difficult to interpret. This course will dive deep into the rich theological, historical, and prophetic significance of these writings. This course will equip students to interpret the Minor Prophets in their context and appreciate their relevance. By the end of the course, students will have a comprehensive understanding of the Minor Prophets and their contributions to the overall biblical narrative as well as their lasting impact on both ancient and contemporary thought.
